Parts

The characters in the show are as for the characters in the play of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and they also reflect  typical roles encountered in G&S operettas. The role of the chorus is closer to that of G&S than the play, but AMND also offers the opportunity for many cameo roles, such as Titania's three attendent fairies and the rustic 'mechanicals' in the play-within-play of 'Pyramus and Thisby'.
